MY CX650E for sale

Postby Marty » Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:29 am

Having recently bought a GL650 my trusty Euro needs to go. She's been a good old girl during the past years Ive owned her. Unusually the bike still has the tangs on the fuel tank ( where the seat connects) plus the rear disc water deflector. The motor is sound and the most "willing" 650 engine Ive ever ridden. The cosmetics are tired as you can see from some of the photos but the tank is undented. There's a Motad 4 into 1 on it. All in all a good sound bike which I need to recoup £1,500 from please.
Send me a PM if you want more info.
p.s. Just put 12 months MOT on it this morning
Marty ( Im still struggling with this photo melarky so if ou want photos directly sent to you - let me know.

You're right DC. In fact I'll even ride it over there for you BC30SE. I haven't been to Poland for a couple of years and would love any excuse to go there again. If you buy the bike plus a little extra for personal delivery, we've got a deal. :D :D

thank you for the very good offer.... I have missed so many offers now because of this:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/11IeRUoc7STJ5XEj1" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank

and who knows how many I will miss..... that's why... I wish I could have it....

when I bought my 500 I told my wife that I could put some money aside doing jobs for people like gaskets, rocker arms etc... I like these bikes though they are old and are hard on parts.. and that little income would be just for me... ok.... how is that so that it has been 3 years now since buying the 500 for my nephew and all the dough goes somewhere else...

ok... it could be possible.. if I sold this finally:

bu the damn thing is just unsellable...

Nice looking house.

What is beside the workshop - is it a small house too ? of office ?

That will eat up all your money and more !

Is the area at the back under the roof going to be open or with all glass sides etc ?

The way prices go the CBR might not make as much as a CX !!

Unsellable ? What do you mean ? Its a beautiful and very underrated bike which is typical of Honda. They make superb machines technically but they go through phases where their design department gets a little "dull" . Then they seem to get a kick up the arse and lead the field again in flare.
That CBR1000 has / was made over many years and each model a little better than the previous. What price - in GBP is the CBR worth in Poland ?

A house is (nearly) always a good investment - unless you build near the Russian border ?

Make sure you spend as mcuh as you can on insulation - floor/walls/ceiling/roof.

Make the house as airtight as you can. Then have mechanical heat exchange or Demand Control ventialltion.

If you didnt have the roof on I would have advised you to install insualted fibre sarking board.

Go for best windows (triple glazed) and doors (composite) you can afford. Wire every room for data (cat6). Install a central vacuum system. Are you building a Masonary Stove ?

haha slowly.... I earn

1798 pln a month = 374 pounds...

ok... cbr is now 7000pln = 1458 pounds - I havent been able to sell it for 2 years now... it is a really good bike.. I know...

with the house... slowly I will be getting all of that but I don't want a central vacuum cleaner.... the stove... I don't know yet but in poland we use small fraction coal stoves with a feeder and this is the most economical, straw stoves are becoming more and more popular too... there will be a fireplace too but without a boiler, not connected to central heating... will be used just occasionally

the garage has an attic in half of the building, the high door section is open, no office.. I will just make all the rooms most convenient for my needs...

PS. 24km from the ukrainian border...

Good luck with all that work. The CBR is probably about that value in the UK also which is crazy. Maybe we should get a team from the UK CX club and ride over to give a hand next Spring / summer ? Ironic - the Brits coming to Poland to work !!!!! :D
