OK, thanks for letting me know Gav, I have just checked my PayPal account and I can see its listed, but can still be cancelled. I assume that means it has not been claimed?
I will cancel it and if ok, will give you cash on arrival (which could be tomorrow as Lance an I are down there tomorrow)?

Hi, I just wanted to say a big thank you to Gavin, Hayleigh , Harry, Sue, Pam et al for organising another brilliant North Devon Rally. I had a brilliant relaxing time. Your efforts mean we can just enjoy the rally with a family atmosphere, helped by Syd adding another family angle.
Please let me know if the £33 was not sufficient for the event, as we can't have you being out of pocket.
I hope you have had a good day Lance and Jo and have a safe journey back tomorrow.
Mysteriously etc gave up the ghost on the way back, and now has the black powder coating on internal surfaces.

We were unable to do the whole weekend, due to work getting in the way. I'm so glad we went for the day on Saturday.
Meeting up with friends old and new, great weather for a change, and such a good turnout.

Many thanks to all involved.

Special thanks to Syd, Lloyd and Mandy for the surprise treat  It was really nice to see you all again.

Hi all, great rally, great company. How on earth the Team manage to run it on the what the individual costing was. Like Tim if there is any deficit it is ours not yours.
Nice to see some of the attendees spouses accompany their partners.
Glad you came, Graham, Carolyn, Dave and Jean for a day visit, bring your tents next time.
A new turbo member, Sam, joined us on the Saturday.
Thanks again for such a pleasant weekend.
Biker of the meet....... Harry.

"The gentle rally" aka the nth devon, was over all too soon last weekend. For the second time this year we had ourselves a rally with great weather. Of course this rally is all about remembering its founder "Biker Bob" which its new sponsor ( soon Gavin) does with swan-like efficiency. Its quite obvious that Haley and ????? ( oh bugger - I hate growing old and forgetting names) his sister also do an awful lot as well to make this a lovely gentle and utterly relaxing weekend.

This plaque is placed right where the rally happens each year by kind permission of the site owners

My bike is playing up after its recent sojourn to Spain so I didnt make the ride out but this lot did and a grand time they had by all accounts.

The motley crew. It was great to see several new female faces. These were partners who took their lives in their hands to venture out despite the very reall danger of falling asleep during the long hours of widgets and main jet dicussions. Thankfully those discussions were kept to a minimum and they were kind enough to say they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and might even come again next year.

This little guy was the star of the show. Harry aka Haribo who kept us all in check and in stitches all at the same time.

Finally, we had a new guest named Sam who came on his 650 Turbo. It was interesting and enjoyable to have him and his bike there and hope he feels sufficiently enamoured with us to join up.

Final word goes to Sue ( Bobs wife ) who was moved to tears several times seeing the legacy Bob started carrying on and still bearing fruit.
Well done Gav and crew - many thanks from all of us who had the luxury of just turning up and thoroughly enjoying ourselves.

Hi All,

Thanks for all the messages and the photos - as I have said time and again the rally is only as good as all the people who attend and make it such.

We have landed and mostly unpacked. Thank you all for making it such a lovely weekend. All the ingredients were present - good weather, good bikes and good friends. Looking forward to next year and maybe we can get a few more CX's for what we are calling the 10 year anniversary :-)

Would be good if we can get a collection of photos from the weekend put together somewhere for all to enjoy?

Thanks,
Gavin
