Dual pot left hand caliper

Postby GRAHAM » Sat Jul 22, 2017 11:37 am

I have a 79 CX500 Custom with the single disc brake on the left.

It has the same forks as my 1980 CX500A, except that has twin discs with single pot calipers.

I am looking for a left hand side dual pot caliper and bracket.

Does anybody have such a thing for sale?

Single disc is normally larger diameter and 1 mm thicker, on dual disc bikes the discs for dual pot have a narrower band for the pads (which is why they have this circle of holes on the inside)

So beware probably will not fit.
CX500 (Z) 1978 red, polaris fairing, ignitech and other odd bits
CX500B 1981, poor thing spent 6+ years outside, total teardown done, awaiting total rebuild cash.
