Piston rings

Postby Roy M » Sun Jun 04, 2017 2:38 pm

Hi all, I searching for a set of standard size piston rings for my GL500. Has anybody out there any clues who can supply them, or is there an alternative? I ve been told that a set from an Audi will fit but will need some machining to he height.
Many thanks

You shouldn't have any problems getting these rings - just a small amount of web research will locate some. Dave Silver or Wemoto. Its the 650 where the scarcity starts but even then there are ways round it ( car ones - as you've said )
